Manage Your Dashboard Layout
Follow this tutorial to customize the layout of your Dashboard Builder dashboard. Layout changes save automatically.
Enable edit mode
Select Edit in the top-right corner of the dashboard page. Edit mode must be active to make layout changes.
Add a row
Select Add row at the bottom of the dashboard. A new empty row with a single tile appears below the existing rows.
Add a tile
Within any row in edit mode, select Add tile. A new empty tile appears to the right of the existing tiles in that row.
Reorder tiles
In edit mode, drag a tile to any position within the dashboard, including into a different row.
Resize a row
In edit mode, drag the bottom edge of a row up or down to adjust its height. All tiles in the row resize together.
Remove a tile or row
To remove a tile, select the tile in edit mode and choose Remove tile.
To remove a row, select Remove row on the row controls. Removing a row also removes all tiles and their visualizations within it.
Save your changes
Layout changes save automatically. This includes adding, removing, and reordering tiles and rows. A Saved indicator appears in the center of the top bar, next to the Editing mode indicator, after the layout saves. Reload the page to confirm the layout persisted.
Removing a tile also removes its associated visualization. The underlying data resource remains intact and can be added to a new tile.
