Platform Administration Overview

The C3 AI Platform Administration Guide provides comprehensive documentation on how to manage, configure, and maintain your C3 AI cluster, environments, and applications.

This guide provides the following documentation on administering the C3 Agentic AI Platform:

  • Cluster architecture
  • Deployment options
  • Cluster configuration options
  • Cloud services
  • Environment and application management and monitoring
  • Troubleshooting

Cluster architecture

The C3 Agentic AI Platform architecture consists of a cluster, its environments, and its applications.

To learn about the C3 AI cluster, environment, and application architecture, see Overview of Cluster Architecture.

Deployment options

C3 AI offers C3 AI-managed or customer-managed cloud deployments on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

To learn about C3 AI-managed versus customer-managed deployment options, see C3 AI Supported Deployments.

Cluster configuration options

C3 Agentic AI Platform administrators can configure many cluster options, such as Kubernetes network and routing configurations, infrastructure resource allocation, identity provider (IdP) integrations, and more.

See the following documentation to learn about some cluster configuration options:

Documentation TopicDescription
Kubernetes Networking Components for C3 AI Applications OverviewAn overview of Kubernetes components that C3 AI applications use for networking purposes.
Manage Cloud Resources for Cluster Using the C3 AI Cluster Management EnvironmentHow to perform cloud resource management, configure default settings, and use JSON templates to define specifications and metadata for cluster resources.
Use Hardware ProfilesAbout hardware profiles, which define allocated node pool resources such as CPUs, GPUs, memory, and networking capacity.
Prerequisites for C3 Agentic AI Platform Integration with Identity ProvidersConcepts to understand, prerequisite tasks, and resources to integrate an identity provider (IdP) with the C3 Agentic AI Platform.
